Alo’s eyes downcast the entire time, his mossy emerald orbs only lifting once to look at his mum as she sustained a speech with him for about ten minutes about responsibility, albeit he had been fulfilling every chore that she gave to him. After some time, she decided that he would never understand reality, and that she wouldn’t be there all the time to tell him to do everything that he was requested to. Alo knew that she was right, he comprehended the fact that he was still submerged in adolescence and it would take more than just satisfying her momentarily with doing chore’s once a week, he had to become consistent and he understood that the only way to do that was to grow up. But he didn’t want to grow up, how he was right now, gratifying himself with parties, and getting intoxicated every night, that was how he wanted to live. He didn’t want a job, or anything akin to that, partying, and drinks were all he wanted to be accustomed to. Though he knew he would have to grow up, soon enough.
After she left him walking from his path and him, still looking at the ground his eyes ascended to the door, his left hand landing back into his pocket before utilizing his right hand to leave the house, as soon as he exited, he was on his way directly to Franky’s home. With his right hand he brushed his glistening fluorescent orange locks, still pondering if Franky was telling the truth or not. Well, he knew she wasn’t being honest with him, anyone who slept that long would suffer from something similar to an extreme sleeping disorder, and he was almost certain that she wasn’t that deprived from sleep. She barely went out to parties, only when accompanying him, he was sure of it.
It was a nice change to going to Franky’s house, recently all he’s been doing was arguing with Mini and solving the problems in their relationship, which of course difficult, but he managed. He knew that she wouldn’t change her catty ways to Emily, Naomi, and Effy, but he was content with that but what he really wanted was for Mini to be mates with Franky, albeit he knew this wasn’t going to be happening any time soon. Alo knew that because of Mini being overly selective, and judgmental concerning her friends that Franky didn’t have a change, the way she dressed depicted her personality apparently in Mini’s perception.
Upon reaching Franky’s house he stood there, his hand brushing against his locks, whilst practically dozing off and thinking about his life he didn’t realize he had been brushing his locks down the entire time. As the door open, and he was greeted by Franky. “Right, right.” Alo could see the tears staining her face, and automatically his mouth gaping with an inquiry. “Hey, what’s up? You alright?” He asked before squeezing by her, and entering the house.
Franky looked up at Alo oddly when he asked if she was okay, she wiped her face again to see if there were any more tears on her face but there weren’t. God, was it that obvious that she was crying? She watched as he walked in and she followed him to the couch after she closed the door.
“Oh, I’m fine,” She laughed nervously, hoping he believed her lie. She realized how much she had been lying to people, people she cared about, that could possibly help. But really, she didn’t believe that someone could help her when her problem was inside her, inside her mind. “I just drank some water and it ran down the wrong way, coughed up a lung, but I’m good now.”
Franky knew this was a lame lie, since the only way Alo could have noticed she was crying was due to her red puffy eyes. If she would have said allergies, it would seem less “realistic” supposedly. She hated lying, more than anything—besides being bullied and judged. Speaking of that, what was Mini’s problem? Why did she have to act like such a bitch? Actually, the question was why did Franky even care? Yes, she seemed to grow a bit of a backbone since moving to Bristol and making some good mates, but why was it that it seemed no matter where she ran a princess-prima-ballerina-good-for-nothing-stuck-up-judging-bitch seemed to follow her? Well, the world may never know.
When it came to Mini, the reason why Franky wanted to be “mates” was for the sake of Alo. The two were dating and Alo was her best mate, and she was sure that nothing was worse than when your best mate and girlfriend didn’t get along. But she tried, and it seemed nothing was going to change or work because the willingness had to come from the other side. Franky, really, was just done with trying to please girls like her; sticking with Alo, Rich, Naomi, and Grace was all good to her because they saw the real Franky and liked her, without the slightest effort to try and change her.
“So, how are things with you and Mini,” Franky asked with a smile. “You know, she’s not so bad to be honest. I think she’s rather lovely.”
Oh God was that a lie! It was so untrue, that it left a nasty taste in Franky’s mouth after she said it! Even though she didn’t want to show Alo how much she hated the girl, she had a feeling he already did—but it never hurt to try.
